I Started A New Youtube Channel!

This week I started a new Youtube channel for one of my sites…

As we know, google can be volatile, and diversifying traffic sources is more important than ever.

That’s why I have decided to start this new channel.

Unlike most people in the Niche site space who have “Faceless channels” I’m going to be the face of this.

Inspired by Epic Gardening and his massive content business I wanted to follow down that path.

I want to grow a community of people in my niche who are as excited about the topic as I am.

Youtube and TikTok are the first steps to building that, alongside continued posting on the site.

Here are the results from the first few days:

I have been posting a combination of long-form and short-form content. Some of the shorts have done okay with the best one getting 2k views so far.

While I know shorts can blow up and really help to grow a channel, I really want my long-form content to succeed.

That’s why I’m so excited to see the first video really get some traction and start bringing in subs to the channel.

As you can see it’s starting to take off on a small scale and hopefully continues to do so.

In terms of strategy on this channel, I will be posting a mix of stories, tips and review content.

This will both be in the form of short and long-form content. I’m currently posting one short per day and trying to get out at least 1 long-form video per week.

I’m excited to see where this goes over the next 30 days or so.

What’s interesting is, we are already getting clicks back to the site from the videos as well as getting clicks to Amazon Affiliate from the videos.
