I Fired My Writers For This AI Writing Tool!

Not like me to send an email on a Friday night…

But, I just wrapped up for the day and thought I would share this with you guys!

As you have probably gathered from the past few emails, I have started using AI content on a couple of my sites...

I think it is too big to ignore. I’m seeing more and more big content sites moving to an AI content model.

While I don’t love it from a reader's perspective, if everyone is doing it, you just can’t compete with paying $70-$150 per article.

The economics simply don’t work if your competitors are pumping out content at $2-3 per article and ranking with it.

So, for certain article types, I have moved to AI production.

Stuff like Product Reviews, Personal Experience etc I will keep to writing myself but for basic queries such as these, AI, in my opinion, is the best option:

  • When was X invented

  • Who won X in 2004

  • Can you eat eggs that are 2 days out of date

I have shared with you some of the methods I have been using with ChatGPT & GPT4 but I think I’ve finally found a tool worth it’s price.

I’ve never promoted an AI writing software to you simply because none have been good enough for me to use.

This time however I’m actually using this tool and publishing content with it…

You may have seen it being pushed on Twitter last week by every SEO guru under the sun.

I brushed it under the rug as just a hypey affiliate push until I tried the software myself this week.

It’s called Koala Writer and it’s pretty damn good.

Here’s why I like it compared to ChatGPT:

  • It writes a full article from scratch (No typing continue to get more words)

  • It automatically creates an article outline before it starts writing, which I can edit and add my own sub-headings to

  • It’s built by a content site owner. The tool doesn’t have 70 different features for FB ads, writing cards for your grannies bday, and doing homework. It simply focuses on producing content, for content sites.

I actually use the tool in combination with ChatGPT. If there’s an extra section I want to add I’ll quickly pull it from ChatGPT and add it.

While not every article is 100% ready to publish it’s damn near close. I still do a bit of editing, adding photos, and adding content where needed.

Ultimately though, this will massively speed up your workflow. Anne Moss who is a $100k/month content site owner has recently moved her team to use this app instead of writing manually.

If publishers like that are using AI, I’m not getting left behind.

Best of all, you can grab a free article right now to test it out yourself…

Then if you want to start publishing more, you can upgrade to a paid plan starting at $9 per month.

I’m currently using the $49/month plan but will likely upgrade that later in the month.

I know the headline says I fired my writers… Confession, I haven’t. But I am feeding them a lot fewer articles and giving them more complex topics to cover.

If you want to check out Koala Writer in action, I just published a video review on it as well:

That’s all for tonight. Have a great Friday night and I’ll see you on Monday for our regularly scheduled programming…
