2.6 Million Page View Post Structure, AI Niches & More
How I structure my blog posts for SEO
In this newsletter, we will look at the blog post structure I used to get over 2.6 Million visitors to my site.

A lot of beginners, when they start writing on their blog, do it completely wrong, resulting in literally zero traffic. Honestly, it’s not even their fault…
Most people are coming from a background of school and university where they teach you to write in a style that does not work well on the internet.
Even people with a journalism background will struggle to write well for search engines as their storytelling style isn’t what google rewards.
Honestly, it’s not complicated at all but some people just don’t know what they don’t know. Here are the key things you need to keep in mind when writing a blog post for google. We are writing for an algorithm first, people second.
1. Headings
Headings are how google can quickly understand what your article is about. You should be using a variety of different headings throughout an article.
An article about how to clean a PC might look like this:
// Start
How To Clean Your PC - Complete Guide (Title Tag - Header 1)
Intro Paragraph
Tools Needed To Clean Your PC (Header 2)
Numbered List of tools
Header 3 - (Breaking down details about the parent header)
You may need to go deeper, using header 4s and 5s if your article requires that much depth.
How To Clean Your PC
Numbered list with detailed steps on cleaning a PC.
May also contain start and end paragraphs with step summaries.
How Often Should I Clean My PC (Header 2 Supporting Content)
Paragraph text.
Tips For Cleaning Your PC (Header 2)
Tip 1 (Header 3, Each tip should have its own header)
Tip paragraph.
// End
As you can see the article is broken down into easy-to-digest categories. This makes it easy for both google and your readers to find the information they need.
In school, you are taught to write in essay format which simply won’t rank. Ensure you are using headings in your content!
2. Tables & Images
I like to add tables and images where I can to supplement my content.
Images - Using images allows my content to be picked up by google image search and gain traffic and backlinks from there. Ensure you are using descriptive alt tags.
Tables - Tables are another great way for information to be picked up by google and potentially displayed in snippets helping you to gain more traffic.
3. Internal Links
Internal linking makes it easier for google and users to navigate through your website. It also shows that you have topical authority in the niche you are writing about if you can link to other articles in the same niche.
Ensure you are only linking to relevant content and try to interlink to 3 other articles from every post. This will also help generate more pageviews per user on your site.
Overview
I’m not the best SEO in the world and am fairly new to the industry but following these basic guidelines allowed me to take my site from zero to 2.6 million users in 2 years without buying backlinks.
I believe the above is 80-90% of On-Page SEO. People love to overcomplicate things but honestly, if you stick to this and go after long-tail search queries, you will have much better results in search.
If you are writing long, wordy, blocks of text essay-style content, you won’t see results. Break your content up and make it easy to read.

This week I also put together a Youtube video on the best Niches to survive the AI content wave.
There is no doubt AI is going to affect our industry significantly, but I think you can position yourself to win by targeting the right niches.

This week I have been solely focusing on my Aged Domain site which has taken off rapidly.
We almost hit 1000 page views per day which are closing in on the number of page views we need to hit Mediavine.

The site has just crossed over 150 articles posted. Hopefully, we can get to around 180 posts by the end of the week.
Next week I will give you a full rundown of the whole portfolio and where it currently stands.
That’s all for this week,
